Monstrous beings, cursed demons, how many innocent victims have already reaped. These woods are littered with bones and human remains. Anyone who ventures there, no longer returns.
They don’t do it out of hunger, they don’t need to feed themselves. Some say that they enjoy collecting human skeletons, stripping the bodies of the poor unfortunates who have the misfortune of becoming their prey, piece by piece.
They were once gods, ancient, wise and powerful gods, corrupted by the passions and desires of mortals and for this reason condemned to exile in these wastelands.
Indestructible ropes connect them to the largest and most robust trees in the forest. Their huge skeletal limbs are not strong enough to uproot them and free themselves, so they remain motionless, hidden by the fog, waiting for some new victim to be sacrificed to their sadistic pleasure, to their dark madness.
But that’s enough.
I came here to put an end to all this, I will eradicate the plague that afflicts this land once and for all.
I’m here to absolve these fallen gods from their eternal condemnation. My sword will be their scourge. Death, their redemption.
No mercy, no hesitation.
